I watched the video a few times and each time I was drawn to these quotes, "...we should nonetheless commit a leap of faith accepting the fact that we will never fully understand the world but nonetheless believe", and I also like the idea of "...living as much as possible rather than as good as possible...". I can't say I have ever thought about it like that before. While living as good as possible has its ups, for me...I would want to share as many meaningful experiences with my family, my daughter...while I have the chance to do so. Make memories while you can!

I agree with sharing those experiences. Maybe life is completely absurd, but the emotions we feel when living as well as possible are the meaning of life. I would suggest it is probably about taking a leap of faith that makes life worth living and makes it less absurd. I think it also depends on an individual's perspective. I would say that the majority of us are desensitized about the absurdity of life and prefer to be ignorant about the concept. However, could one say that those who aren't so ignorant about the absurdity and choose not to contribute to the concept are also ignorant?

I think we all see so many absurdities that, to some extent, we are desensitized...maybe not entirely but I can agree that we are to a certain extent. For me, I feel like...what is the point of living if you don't feel these emotions, whether they are good or bad, and share them with the ones you love and care for?

Hi! Those quotes you pointed out stuck with me as well. I think this idea that we should just accept that we will never fully know or understand everything is simply just so we can keep our sanity. I can see how this thought can lead to some dark places. But, referring to the second quote, we should absolutely try to live as much as possible. When bringing the idea of "good" into it I think things can get difficult. Everyone has a different idea of what is good and what is bad. So when we drop that restriction and simply live, I think that in itself is a revolt against the system.
